Columns was first released for X-Windows and later Sega, as it cashed in on its addictive gameplay. This is the second version from Kenrick Mock for the IIGS. It is much improved from version 1 thanks to James Brookes graphics and fantastic music score.

Columns is played similarly to Tetris in that you need to prevent a build up of falling blocks. The main difference between the two is that in Columns, blocks are removed whenever three or more of the same colour are lined up horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

The archive doesn't include an operating system so you'll need to download the installed version of System 6.01 if you haven't already set that up.
