Where in the USA was the first sequel in the Carmen Sandiego series and was the only IIGS specific sequel to be made.

The game plays in the same way as the original, except that Carmen has a new band of thieves and this time the trail leads only to the different states of the United States of America. To help you in this quest and learning a lot about American geography along the way, Fodor's Guide to the USA was included, as opposed to the World Almanac. Where I have truly mastered Where in the World this game well and truly presents a challenge to me not being a native to North America.

Again, the IIGS version comes on two disks and has the added requirement of needing 1 meg of RAM to run. Still, Broderbund has provided another solid version to the Sandiego stable, with the most notable improvement of an animated introduction. The game is hard drive installable and runs from System 6 without any problems.
