Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you regarding this (the server went down, I've been travelling, etc.).

I tried downloading both Carmen Sandiego games and I was able to extract them fine - albeit on my Mac. I don't have a Windows PC around to test further unfortunately.

Hmm.. well I've tried renaming those file extensions from .ZIP to .2MG .. Ciderpress didn't like that as well.. it said it was not a valid archive.. tried extracting it over ADTPro and the game didn't boot either..

I wonder if I'm missing something here?

I think I figured it out. The game listings say they're 2image archives, but they have the .ZIP extension. I'll try renaming it to .2mg when I get home.

I've tried opening it as a .ZIP on multiple machines, with multiple browsers without any luck. WinZip reports it's not a valid ZIP file.

Hi Mike,

sounds like you're experiencing an old problem that I only know a work around for. In the past, people have reported that using Internet Explorer to download the .zip archives seems to screw them up.

I suggest using Firefox, Chrome, Safari as alternatives to download (which are better browsers anyway).

Let me know if this doesn't work however.

Trouble w Carmen Sandiego zips?

Hi All, I'm new to the IIgs culture, and was trying to download Carmen Sandiego World, and USA. However when I opened the ZIPs, there were no contents. I've tried a few other ZIPs without any problems. Did something happen to these ZIPs?
